24 August - Stage 2 First Contacts - a virtual lesson on Zoom

Learn about Dharawal life and culture for the first inhabitants before Cook’s arrival at Kamay.
Participate in a role play to understand some of the significant events when James Cook sailed into Botany Bay in 1770.
Work as a botanist or botanical artist to create a drawing just as Solander and Parkinson did in 1770.

The lesson will be hands-on, educational, fun and interactive.

Lessons will be presented by NSW Department of Education Environmental Education teachers.

Duration 1h 15m.  $90 per class.
