2024 Fieldwork excursion costs
Department of Education schools
- 1-3 groups (max 30 students per class): $14 per student (GST free)
- additional class (max 30 students per class): $460 per class (GST free)
For example:
3 classes
- max 90 students: $14 per student
4 classes
- max 120 students: ($14 x 90 students) + ($460 x 1 additional class) = $1720 total
Non-government school
- 3 classes max 90 students: $24 per student
- 4 classes max 120 students: ($24 x 90 students) + ($550 x 1 additional class) = $2710 total
National Park entry fee
$42 per bus (ex GST). This fee is payable for excursions that take place at Kamay Botany Bay National Park. The National Parks and Wildlife Service will invoice you separately after the excursion. You do not need money on the day.
