Stage 4 - History and Geography - What Lies Beneath

Stage 4 and 5 Geography/History 

Location

Kamay Botany Bay National Park, Kurnell

Students will explore and investigate the site to gather geographical and historical evidence to make the case to have the site listed on the UNESCO World Heritage list

History and geography at Botany Bay

Students are divided into groups and complete three modules.

  • Module 1: First Contact on Botany Bay
  • Module 2: Geography Field Work
  • Module 3: Bush foods walk on Banks-Solander Track and return to museum to view murals and Aboriginal artefacts
