What lies beneath - Stage 4 Geography and History excursion

History and geography at Botany Bay

Students are divided into groups and complete three modules.

  • Module 1: First Contact on Botany Bay
  • Module 2: Geography Field Work
  • Module 3: Bush foods walk on Banks-Solander Track and return to museum to view murals and Aboriginal artefacts

This site study links to syllabus site study suggestions for Stage 4, as visiting Kamay Botany Bay National Park combines:

  • an Aboriginal site  
  • a heritage site 
  • a museum visit.
