Stage 2: A virtual lesson on Zoom

During the virtual lesson students will:

• Learn about Dharawal life and culture for the first inhabitants before Cook’s arrival at Kamay

• Participate in a role play to understand some of the significant events when James Cook sailed into Botany Bay in 1770

• Work as a botanist or botanical artist to create a drawing just as Solander and Parkinson did in 1770

The lesson will be hands-on, educational, fun and interactive. Lessons will be presented by Environmental Education teachers

Session times:  9:30am      11:30am     1:30pm

Length : 75 minutes per session

Limit of 30 students per session

Zoom: A link will be sent once your booking has been confirmed

Cost: $60 per class

Discount for small schools of less than 20 students apply
