An introduction to Aboriginal life and culture
During the virtual lesson students will:
• Learn about Welcome to and Acknowledgment of Country
• Caring and Connecting to Country. The importance of and how to care for Country
• Heal Country. Students will be inspired to create an artwork
The lesson will be hands-on, educational, fun and interactive. Lessons will be presented by Environmental Education teachers with support from NSW Department of Education.
An e-package with instructions, pre-zoom activities, materials required for the lesson and a number of other resources will be sent to the teacher.
