New virtual lesson for First Contacts via Zoom

During the virtual lesson students will:

• Learn about Dharawal life and culture for the first inhabitants before Cook’s arrival at Kamay

• Participate in a role play to understand some of the significant events when James Cook sailed into Botany Bay in 1770

• Work as a botanist or botanical artist to create a drawing just as Solander and Parkinson did in 1770

The lesson will be hands-on, educational, fun and interactive. Lessons will be presented by Environmental Education teachers.


Date: Various dates

Time: 75 minutes per session

Choose from 9:30am, 11:30am or 1:30pm

Cost: $60 per class

Discount for small schools of less than 20 students apply.
